Paula Patton is an actress and producer best known for her roles as a lead actress in the action film Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol as well as the dramatic film Precious. As a child with her family in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, Patton had many desires. She was raised by her mother who loved to watch movies. Paula participated in co-curricular classes at her school and enjoyed drama. She was a great actress, and she enjoyed performing alongside her peers. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School produced many plays and the actor decided that acting was the career she wanted to pursue. She attended the University of Southern California for a Summer Program and loved it. She won a three-month assignment making documentaries for PBS. She started as production assistant for television documentaries, after completing her assignment. After completing her assignment then she began putting together documentary films. Her work was rewarding, but she still wanted to become an actor. Her acting career began with minor roles with Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. Her roles have since been seen in many films and TV series.
