Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone, born on 5th January 1986 (pronounced as [diPIka Paduko] or [paDuko]), is an Indian actor in films. She is most often seen in films that have a predominantly Hindi accent. She's among the actresses with the highest salaries in India And her awards includes three Filmfare Awards. Time Magazine ranked Padukone as among the top 100 Influential people around the world in 2018. They also gave her The TIME100 Impact Award 2022. Padukone is the daughter of the famous badminton player Prakash Padukone, was born in Copenhagen and grew up in Bangalore. She competed in national badminton championships while a teenager. She decided to quit for the sake of becoming a model. She soon received offers for film roles, and she started her acting career in 2006 as the title character of her debut film Kannada film Aishwarya. Padukone appeared alongside Shah Rukh Khan a dual character on the film Om Shanti Om, her first Bollywood film. The film brought her the Filmfare Award as Best Female Debut. Padukone received praise for her performance as the lead character in Love Aaj Kal, but the film suffered a minor loss.
